Whether you are a late March or an April born Aries, until the Sun leaves on 20th April, this is your birthday month and with it, a chance for a fresh start, a reset and to embrace the journey that this year will take you on. This year you have had an early start, having more time to explore your options and you have a secret weapon that is giving you an advantage from the start. That secret weapon is the North Node, which since its return to Aries last July has been providing an innate sense of direction. While the North Node has been here for nearly eight months, it has been 18 years since you last moved into a new solar year with its guiding light from the start.
Having the North Node here will also turn a New Moon into a total solar eclipse, when the Moon returns for its only visit to Aries during your birthday month from 7th April to 9th April. This brings the potential for major new beginnings just as Mercury, in retrograde motion here from 2nd April to 26th April is holding the doors open to the past. It was Mercury's return earlier last month that gave you a head start, with a chance to get your head in the game weeks before the Sun's return, while Mars' return in early May will extend things out the other side. It is when Venus moves through from 5th April to 29th April that she will be focused on giving your heart a voice.
In a year when the lunar nodes are policing a balance between your personal and relationship needs, having Venus spend the majority of the month in Aries will help with that. Your birthday month will end when the Sun leaves Aries on 20th April, with his return to your income sector coming just six days before Mars is due to move into his final month in your income sector and of his 12 month quest for income growth and expansion. They will be joined the Venus, who will return wearing her planet of money hat on 29th April. With Venus, the planet of love spending the majority of April in Aries, she will be working to make this a good month on both the romantic and relationship fronts. Last year Venus had already moved through by the time the Sun returned to begin your birthday month and new solar year. Venus had left a note for the Sun when he returned just a few days after she left, but she wasn't there to whisper in his ear throughout your birthday month.When the month begins with Venus still in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart and while your birthday month is already underway, she is still taking your heart on a nostalgic trip down love's memory lane that will end with her return to Aries on 5th April. The one planet that will be here all month is Mercury, even though the planet of communication returned early last month for what is normally a 14 to 15 day visit.
It is a retrograde turn on 2nd April that will keep Mercury here all month and well into next month and after last month's eclipsing Full Moon in your relationship sector, the timing couldn't be better. Until turning direct on 26th April, Mercury is on hand to give the past and unsaid words a voice. It is while Mercury is in retrograde motion that the Moon will make its only visit to your relationship sector while Venus is in Aries, with its visit from 21st April to 24th April a chance to give your emotional responses, relationships, the past and unsaid words a voice. It is a few days earlier that the Moon will make its monthly visit to your romantic sector from 16th April to 19th April, with each visit helping Venus in her mission to update your romantic and relationship desires and expectations for the coming year.
Business & Career
As has been the case since Mars and Venus left your career sector in February, the initial push to get this professional year up to speed is over and it is now more about keeping the wheels turning. As there is rarely any planetary activity in your work sector in the first half of each year and there should have been no planetary activity in your career sector after Venus and Mars left, it is two of the minor players that have stepped in to fill the gap and keep the wheels turning. That and the Moon's monthly visits to your two professional houses is not only enough to keep the wheels turning, but to offer support for Jupiter as he moves into his last full month in your income sector and of his quest for income growth and expansion.Yet whether it is the dwarf planet Ceres in your career sector or the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment in your work sector, they are both slowing down, which is calling for a slow and steady approach. With the planets of money and luck not only teaming up here for the first time in 12 years but with Venus arriving on the same day that Jupiter moves into his final month, this is when everything will come together. Yet even though Jupiter will leave next month, with Mars not returning until June you will have months to reap the full rewards. Meanwhile, the Moon will have a positive impact on both sides of the financial fence this month.
