Today's Horoscope This week This month

Leo horoscope for June 2024

Because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of June in your sector of friendship, teamwork and networking, the focus is always on your social life, friendships and all your connections. With the Sun returning to a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart on 21st June to begin the month long wind down of your old solar year, this first puts the focus on connecting with others, making for a vibrant start to the month, with places to go and people to see. However, while you start the month with Venus here and Mercury, the planet of communication will move through from 3rd June to 17th June, this is anything but the ordinary focus that comes around for a few weeks each year.

With Venus and Mercury both leaving on 17th June and the Sun three days later, this should bring all planetary activity in this socially focused part of your chart to an end just a month after it began. Instead, this is the start of something much bigger, due to the fact that it was just days after the Sun and Venus returned last month that Jupiter did as well and here now until June 2025, this is something that will not only continue but strengthen. This has already had wider implications, with the Sun and Venus having already moved into a friendly aspect to Pluto in your relationship sector by the time you move into the new month, Jupiter starting the month at the same aspect and Mercury doing the same when he moves through.

As well as something that will get the month off to a good start when it comes to personal and professional networking, friendship and relationship building, Jupiter and Pluto will continue to work together after even Mars, who doesn't return until next month has moved through. Meanwhile, Mars is otherwise occupied. Until leaving an adventurous part of your chart on 9th June Mars is more focused on fuelling a passion for adventure, as well as setting things up so that life doesn't become all work and no play when he returns to your career sector for his first visit in two years. This will be a chance for the warrior planet of the cosmos to exploit the momentum Jupiter had created during his 12 month quest for professional growth and expansion, which ended late last month.

Love & Romance

For Pluto, in your relationship sector since January and in retrograde motion since late April, it was business as usual until towards the end of last month when, within the space of just five days first the Sun then Venus and finally Jupiter all returned to your friendship sector. This is something that put the Sun and Venus at a friendly aspect to Pluto from the start, with this month starting with Jupiter at the same aspect. This is something that Mercury, the planet of communication will also do when he returns to your friendship sector on 3rd June. Meanwhile, as they move through the Sun, Venus and Mercury will also form a friendly aspect to the South Node in your communication sector.

This is the start of a partnership across the communication, friendship and relationship fronts that Jupiter will be a lynchpin in for the rest of the year while Jupiter and Pluto, the planets of luck and change will continue to work as a team to support friendship and relationship building until June 2025. Until the South Node leaves your communication sector in January 2025, a team of planets returning in the second half of the year will work to keep the communication lines open. This is something that you will get a better feel for when the Moon moves through your communication sector from 15th June to 17th June and through your relationship sector from 24th June to 26th June.

Meanwhile, while there is no planetary activity in your romantic sector and won't be until later in the year, a Full Moon late last month has given the spirit of romance a boost. A friendly aspect to Mars at the time, who will remain in an adventurous part of your chart until 9th June, has brought a mix of romance, passion and adventure together that he has been able to hold onto. The Moon will come full circle from that Full Moon from 20th June to 22nd June. These romantically charged lunar vibes will kick during Venus' early days in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart, with the planet of love returning on 17th June to take your heart on a nostalgic trip down love's memory lane that will end with her return to Leo next month.

Business & Career

Even though the Sun, Venus and Jupiter all left your career sector towards the end of last month, this hasn't brought anything to an end and while the pace may have dropped back, this is only temporary and for just long enough so that you can regroup and catch your breath before the next wave. While the Sun was only in your career sector for a month and Venus for just 24 days, they were here during the final weeks of Jupiter's 12 month quest for professional growth and expansion. Both aligned with Jupiter before leaving, making his final weeks some of the best and especially when it comes to cementing his legacy.

Uranus, in your career sector from 2019 to 2026 will ensure that things never go completely off the boil. However, he is playing a long game and this has seen the immediate urgency drop back. Mercury is using this to his advantage, as until leaving on 3rd June he is giving you a chance to get your head in the game and around an overload of information that you have been left to process. It is Mercury's departure that will leave Uranus back on his own for the first time since March 2023, however not for long. This makes it important to make the most of this quiet patch while it lasts.

The Moon will return just before Mercury leaves on 3rd June and an alignment with Uranus before leaving on 5th June, when there are no other planets here will be a valuable chance to check get to basics or to your baseline. With Jupiter gone but the impact from his 12 month visit having changed a sense of what's possible, this will be a valuable chance to regroup. It is just four days later that a second wave will hit, with Mars returning for his first visit to your career sector in two years on 9th June. Until leaving on 21st July, the warrior planet of the cosmos will fire things up as he works to exploit the professional potential that has been building since Jupiter returned in May 2023. It is while Mars is here that the Moon will not only return to your work sector from 22nd June to 24th June, but as a Full Moon that can fire things up on both fronts.

On both sides of the financial fence, you have reached a point in the year where things are stable, settled and more importantly, where there is no more direct competition between the two. From the Sun's return to your financial sector in February to Mars' departure at the end of April, a parade of planets had moved through and as they did, as well as aligning with Saturn and Neptune here, they also clashed with the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment in your income sector. On the one hand, with Saturn and Neptune working as a team until early 2026, giving you the resolve to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes to turn financial dreams into reality, this was empowering.

On the other hand, the constant stress testing of a balance between money coming in and money going out may have created some financial tension. Right now, Juno is still on the other side of the sky but located halfway between Saturn and Neptune, nowhere near clashing with either and with the last of the faster planets having already moved through, a truce has been called. While Saturn was always going to use this as motivation and especially the motivation to take your financial power back, on the other side of the financial fence Juno has been and will continue to get support from planets on the job and career fronts that is also turning this into motivation.

The only time that tensions could rise is when the Moon visits your two money houses, something that for a few days will bring them back into competition. That will happen when the Moon moves through your income sector from 12th June to 15th June, aligning with Juno but clashing with Saturn and Neptune. Then, two weeks later moving through your financial sector from 26th June to 28th June, the Moon will align with Neptune and Saturn but clash with Juno. This has and will continue to repeat every two weeks, keeping both sides of the financial fence energised while providing a healthy amount of competition between money coming in and money going out.

As the dwarf planet Ceres settles into her first full month in retrograde motion in your health sector, there has been nothing but support from the start and that includes from when she began her deep dive into your health needs and priorities in February. That is about to change, with some challenges coming up that towards the end of the month might start challenging old excuses or even just a sense of complacency. It has been four years since Ceres was last here and with a retrograde phase keeping her here until December, this is something that you need to take advantage of. You might find that this is put to the test when the Moon not only moves through your health sector from 22nd June to 24th June but as a Full Moon.
