Today's Horoscope This week This month

Capricorn Weekly horoscope for Oct 3 to Oct 9, 2022

Beginning the week with the Moon in Capricorn will always be an advantage, ensuring your instincts are sharp and you are emotionally and intuitively engaged from the start. The Moon's return each month is always a valuable chance to check in, both with your own inner voice and the ever changing cosmic conditions. It is the latter that is especially relevant this time, with a huge amount of change taking place. This last visit before Pluto turns direct in Capricorn over the weekend is a chance to get one last clear view of the rear view mirror before the focus shifts to the future. With Mercury having just turned direct over the weekend, this is the start of a general trend towards looking back rather than forward. Other big changes are on the professional front, with the Moon bringing just a small taste of what is building across the income, work and career fronts midweek.

Love & Romance

Starting the week with the Moon in Capricorn is not only an advantage personally but romantically as well. The Moon's return to Capricorn each month is always a valuable chance to check in and with Pluto turning direct here over the weekend, this is one last chance to connect to the past. However, before leaving on Tuesday the Moon will not only form a friendly aspect to Uranus, still in retrograde motion in your romantic sector but also Mercury, who just ended his short retrograde phase in an adventurous part of your chart on Sunday. This will bring a mix of romance, adventure and nostalgia together at a time when the doors are still open to the past and second chances but when the tide is also starting to turn. It is later in the week that the Moon's return to your communication sector will give your relationships a boost, at a point in the year when it is all about having the communication lines open.

Business & Career

By the time you move into the new week Mars has been in your work sector for six weeks and two days. This is significant because Mars will normally spend six weeks here before leaving, not to return again for another two years. However, Mars is not only still here but instead of showing signs of leaving, the warrior planet is slowing down ahead of a retrograde turn later in the month that will keep him here for the rest of the year. Instead of a sense of urgency that normally accompanies Mars you have time to see things through, giving you the confidence to aim higher but also better target his warrior and competitive spirit. With the Sun always spending the first three weeks of October in your career sector and Venus in her first full week here, by the time the Moon moves through your income sector midweek it will be to reveal a powder keg of potential across the income, work and career fronts.

Having the Moon not only return to your income sector on Tuesday but align with Saturn and form a friendly aspect to planets on the job and career fronts was always going to energise things in the heart of the working week. However, what makes the timing even more significant is that it comes at a pivotal time across the income, work and career fronts. This is not just the Moon's last visit while Saturn is in retrograde motion in your income sector for another three decades but its only visit while Venus, the planet of money is in your career sector. This is Venus' first full week in your career sector, with the Moon giving her mission to fuel your professional confidence, attract opportunities and steer things in a lucrative direction an early boost. At the same time, the Moon's friendly aspect to Mars will be the first sign yet that instead of leaving your work sector, the warrior planet of the cosmos is here to stay.

It was over the weekend the Moon confronted Mars in your health sector, for the second time since returning six weeks earlier. As Mars is only usually here for six weeks, this should have been the last time for another two years. However, with the Moon gone and as you process something that may have put your resources to the test over the weekend and especially when it came to knowing when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off, there is time to learn from the experience. Instead of leaving Mars is here to stay but his approach to better health and greater activity has become less urgent and more realistic.
