Today's Horoscope This week This month
Aquarius horoscope for October 2022
The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of October in an adventurous part of your chart before returning to your career sector but this year, there is a more abrupt shift from one to the other. While the Sun will always leave your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery and return to your career sector on 23rd October, this year so too will Venus. The Sun and Venus are joined at the hip to such a degree that they will spend their final days in an adventurous part of your chart aligned, squeezing as much out of this as possible and will still be aligned when they return to your career sector.
In both cases this will call for an 'all in' approach, throwing yourself into the spirit of adventure in the first part of the month and then doing the same when things take a professional turn. What will help to exaggerate the Sun and Venus' focused approach is the support they will find in both incarnations. What will help you embrace the Sun and Venus' time in an adventurous part of your chart is their friendly aspect to Mars, who instead of leaving a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart is slowing down ahead of a retrograde turn on 31st October that will keep him here until March 2023.
This is what can guard against life becoming all work and no play when things start to not only move professionally but financially as well. It begins with the Sun and Venus' return to your career sector on 23rd October, but it is an eclipsing New Moon just two days later that can act as a catalyst for new beginnings and opportunities. It is just five days later that nearly five months after leaving your income sector, Jupiter will retrograde back in. Jupiter is back for less than two months but with the planets of luck and dreams joining up again for the last time here in our lifetime, as new doors open professionally they are also opening the past, second chances and untapped income potential.
Love & RomanceLove is in the air in a way that is not usually seen at this time of year and you can thank both Venus and Mars, the planets of love and passion for that. It is not unusual to have Venus, the planet of love in an adventurous part of your chart at this time of year, for she is usually close to the Sun who will always spend the first three weeks of October in this adventurous part of your chart. However, rarely is there any planetary activity in your romantic sector at this time of year, with Venus having to work on her own to bring the spirit of romance and adventure together.
However, when Venus returned late last month it was to find Mars in your romantic sector with the warrior planet of the cosmos having returned for the first time in two years to fuel your romantic passions and fighting spirit. By the time you move into the new month Venus has been in an adventurous part of your chart for less than 48 hours but as Mars has been in your romantic sector for six weeks, this should be a case of ships passing in the night. After all, Mars will normally only spend six weeks in your romantic sector.
Instead, Mars is slowing down ahead of a retrograde turn on 31st October that will not only keep him in your romantic sector for the whole of October but right through to March 2023, making this his longest visit in eight decades. Until Venus leaves an adventurous part of your chart on 23rd October, she will be working with Mars to bring together a mix of romance, passion and adventure, something that will peak when they move into a friendly aspect on 19th October. With the Moon moving through from 13th October to 16th October, these romantically charged lunar vibes will tap into and amplify this. Meanwhile, the Moon's visit to your relationship sector from 18th October to 20th October will be the first chance to check in since all planetary activity on the relationship front ended late last month.
Business & CareerTo begin with, it is business as usual across the income, work and career fronts and but in two out of the three big changes are on the way. The exception is on the job front, less because nothing is happening and more because everything has already happened and there is plenty of momentum. It was only in August that the last planet left your work sector but over the previous months the Sun, Mercury, Venus and the dwarf planet Ceres had all moved through, making waves and creating momentum that work and job matters will continue to benefit from.
This is a point in the year when the Moon's monthly visits are more than enough to keep the momentum going and can act as a trigger for any new developments. This month that will happen when the Moon moves through your work sector from 16th October to 18th October, something that will see it form a friendly aspect to the South Node in your career sector and to the asteroid Juno and dreamy Neptune in your income sector as it moves through. That is the case with every monthly visit, creating a positive few days across the income, work and career fronts. The difference this time is that this is just days before major new developments on the income and job fronts.
It begins with the Sun and Venus' return to your income sector on 23rd October, something that sets the scene for a solar eclipse on 25th October, which could act as a major trigger on the income and job fronts. It is just five days later that the whole dynamics of this professional year will once again change when Jupiter retrogrades back into your career sector on 28th October, almost five months after leaving. Jupiter is only back for less than two months but he is returning to reap what he planted earlier in the year and to make the most of the doors open to the past, second chances and untapped professional potential. This will bring the planets of luck and dreams together again for the last time here in our lifetime.
MoneyWhile this is an important month on both sides of the financial fence and a bit of a dark horse at that, it is at either end of the month that you will find the most important developments. Fortunately, both sides of the financial fence will have their turn, with the most important developments on the financial front happening in the early part of the month and the most important on the income side of the financial fence happening towards the end of the month. The month not only begins with the asteroid Juno and dreamy Neptune in retrograde motion in your income sector, as they have been for months but Mercury in retrograde motion in your financial sector.
The latter is temporary, with Mercury's direct turn on 2nd October ending a short chance to return to the drawing board. Mercury had left your financial sector in August, but he retrograded back in four weeks after leaving and just hours after the Sun left on 23rd September. Once in direct motion, Mercury will leave on 11th October, making the early part of the month an important time for having your head in the game and around money matters. This should end all planetary activity on this side of the financial fence, but the dwarf planet Ceres' return late last month has begun her first deep dive into your financial needs and priorities in four years.
This is something that will continue for the rest of the year but in the background. In reality, Mercury's departure is when the focus shifts back to the income side of the financial fence where for now, it will be business as usual. While Neptune will remain in retrograde motion in your income sector until early December, everything will change when nearly five months after leaving Jupiter will retrograde back in on 28th October. This will see the planets of luck and dreams reunite, this time for the last time in our lifetime. With both in retrograde motion, this is when the real push begins to make the most of the doors open to the past, second chances and untapped income potential.
